Demonstration of the technical and economic feasibility of IGCC technology for electricity production in an increasingly competitive environment is achieved through proper management of people within the company.

One of ELCOGAS's aims is to reinforce its personnel constantly, optimizing their capabilities, motivation and involvement in the achievement of the company's objectives and creating a good working environment.

The Management Policy of ELCOGAS, S.A., specifically includes the commitment undertaken with regard to equality of treatment between men and women and non-discrimination. In this context, in 2008, ELCOGAS approved its Equality Plan, which was awarded -that year- the first prize Premio + Igual organized by the Instituto de la Mujer of Castile-La Mancha. This award is aimed at companies which adopt principles and/or working practices for equality in their structure and organization.
